How do I perform a search?

Type the name or ID# of a Series or Episode in the Search bar. Hit enter/return or click on the icon of the magnifying glass to perform the search and go to the Catalogue page.

How do I use the Advanced Search Options?

Placing your mouse over or tabbing into the Search box automatically opens the Advanced Search Options. To expand an option category (e.g. Materials, Length, Formats, etc.), click on the arrow next to the category name and the available Filters within that Category will appear. To select a Filter, click on the box next to the icon of the desired Filter. A '+' sign will appear near the selected Filters. You can select multiple filters in each Search Category. To remove a single Filter, simply click on the '+' near the icon again. To remove an entire category of Filters, click on the '+' next to the category.

Selecting multiple Filters will search for any of the appropriate results. In other words, filtering by Screeners and Logos will return any result with either a Screener or a Logo attached to it.

How do I navigate through the Search Results?

Whenever you perform a search, two sets of results are returned - Series and Episodes.

To browse the results by Series, click on the arrow next to the Series Title. It expands to reveal a list of Episodes sorted by Season. You can either click on a specific Season to view the episodes in it or click on 'All Episodes' to see all the Episodes available in the selected Series.

The Episodes results are sorted alphabetically by Episode title. Click on a specific Episode title to read the summary and watch the screener, if available.

Clicking on the Series title or Episode title will display a Details pane with a Screener (if available), Synopsis and list of all Materials attached to that record.

The number of results per page is limited, so if you can't find what you're looking for in the first set of results, navigate to the next set by clicking on the number groups at the top of the section.

You can download any supporting Material directly from the results by clicking on the appropriate icon. If you are unsure what the icons mean, holding the mouse over any of them will display the icon definition.

What is the Most Viewed section on the Homepage?

Another new feature of the re-launched aetninternational.com is the addition of a Most Viewed tag cloud on the home page. On mouse-over of a specific title, the series summary will pop up. This is how the Most Viewed series are calculated: The tags get weighted (reflected in their size) according to how many times the Details for a Series have been opened within the past three months (1 catalogue cycle).

KNOWN ISSUES

Browser crashing/computer slowing down

The Homepage may cause some computers and browsers to slow down. It's best to navigate away from the Homepage, to the Catalogue page in this case. We are working on solving this problem for the next release of the site.

Internet Explorer 6

The new site will not support IE6. Currently, any user attempting to access the site with IE6 is being redirected to the previous version of the site (the same one that they have always used). We recommend using Firefox 3 or above, Internet Exploer 7 or above, Chrome, or Safari 3 or above (all of which are available for free download).
